- What is a synchronous connection? My modem supports it. Do I need a
- special serial port or anything? My understanding is that 8 bits sent
- is 1 actual byte, since there are no start bits and stop bits, which
- get wasted. In my manual, there are about 5 different things listed
- regarding sychronous connections (&Q0-5). Which one do I use? A BBS
- near me has USR V. Everything modems, could I make synchronous
- connections with them? Thanks a lot!!
